| Worksite Health Challenge: Ready, Set, Go! |

This workshop will serve as the official kickoff for MEBSR’s Worksite Health Challenge, a new program for MEBSR members who are interested in supporting the health of their employees. The Worksite Health Challenge is a 16-week program designed to simply and easily identify appropriate health related strategies for any type of business. Participants will utilize online tools and technical support to develop a wellness roadmap that is tailored to the specific needs of their business. At the end of the program, each participant will be benchmarked against a set of evidence-based criteria for worksite health with recognition provided for all Challenge participants.
Workshop participants will receive a brief review of the business case for worksite health, an overview of the Worksite Health Challenge process, and specific instructions for getting started.

Andy Spaulding has been a Worksite Health Specialist with Maine CDC’s Cardiovascular Health Program since 2001. In that time he has guided more than 100 Maine businesses in the development of programs to manage employee health and productivity. Andy also works with regional wellness councils, business groups, and local and state level agencies to increase the number of employers using best practice guidelines to support employee health. |
Andy grew up in Searsport and currently lives in Freeport with his wife and three young children. Andy holds a B.A. in Health and Fitness from the University of Maine and a Masters degree in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts. |
